This concrete restoration project at Sandpiper Atrium in Stuart, Florida included the removal and repair of existing railing post pockets, as well as partial and full-depth structural repairs to the third-floor catwalk at the east entrance. The work also included the repair of four structural columns within the covered parking garage and the replacement of all hangers with stainless steel components for improved durability and performance.

In addition, five stories of railings along the atrium catwalks were removed and replaced as part of the restoration scope.

This project was executed on a critical schedule from day one, requiring precise planning and coordination to meet a strict timeline between Memorial Day and Labor Day in order to return the facility to the hotel for peak-season occupancy. Despite challenging conditions, including a tropical storm and a Category 1 hurricane, the project was successfully completed on schedule.
